Deadline to file Petitions for Library Trustee in the Library Director’s Office: March 4
Library Board Meeting: March 22 at 6 PM in the Conference Room
Voter Registration: March 22 from 4 PM-8 PM
Budget Hearing: March 29
Absentee Ballots Must be Completed and Returned to the Library on: April 5 by 5 PM.

Library Taxes
Taxing jurisdictions, such as the library district, establish a budget which determines the tax levy or the amount of money to be raised by property taxes to keep the library operational.
Your library taxes are based on the assessed value of your property
multiplied by the library tax rate. All single-family houses in the Farmingdale Library District currently have a library tax rate of 32.18.
